Find the Cat

Where is the cat in this picture?  When you do find it, try to describe where it is to someone else without pointing.  Can you do it by only using words?

Where is the cat?  It's sitting in the grassy area, in front of the rocky wall, just right of where the is a dirt path where it looks like people have walked down.

Our new word of the day - winsome

Today we learnt from
http://www.factmonster.com/schoolword?opt=think+she+was+the+cutest+thing+on+Earth.
that winsome means cute, charming or sweet.  Here is how we can use winsome in a sentence:

Codie, Sarah and Eileen are winsome.
If I bought a mouse, I would by the most winsome one.
My guinea pig has a very winsome face.
The very big, man-eating bear was winsome.  (Hmmm?)

Bath time for the cat

Yesterday we wrote character descriptions about a person or animal we know.  How many of you have cats that behave this way?
Talk to someone about what one of your pets is like at home and how if behaves in different situations.

Here is what some of those pets do:

Joseph's fish is now called Dead Dave because he died.
Thomas' cat Murphy is extremely greedy and eats all of the cat food.
When you get Lydia's cat food, she puts her tail straight up in the air.
Whenever Kate's dog is in the bath, he'd rather prefer a shower.
When you give Jemima's cat food, she curls around your legs and cuddles you.
Rylie's cat Sushi purrs loudly when she doesn't get attention.
When Eileen's guinea pig is hungry she comes to the door.
When Alison's guinea pig, Moon, is hungry, when the door opens she squeaks really loudly.
When Angus' dad tried to put the pigs in the bath, they pooped on him.
