Our new feet idioms   

'take the load off her feet'
'stopped dead in her tracks'
'sweep her teacher off her feet'
'threw herself at her mother's feet
'stand on her own two feet'
'gotten off on the wrong foot'
'step on the gas'
'get her foot in the door'

Other idioms we know:

'taken for a ride'
'believe it or not'
'when push comes to shove'

We used these idioms to draw the literal meanings in our journals, after we discussed what they really meant.  Here are a few of them:
